We are...
an Independent, Fundamental, Baptist Church...
- Independent - As an Independent Baptist Church we govern ourselves and are not under the governing rule of any outside council, association, organization, or external hierarchical structure.
- Fundamental - We believe the entire Bible literally from the Genesis Creation Account (literal 24 hour days) to the coming judgement of God upon the unsaved world described in Revelation.
- Baptist Church - Calvary is a Baptist Church because of biblical distictives:
- Bible - the sole authority for faith and practice
- Autonomy of the local church (the right to self-govern)
- Priesthood of each believer
- Two church offices - Pastor and Deacon
- Individual soul liberty and responsibility
- Separation of church and state
- Two ordinances - baptism and the Lord's Supper
We exist to...
- To help each believer grow more like the Lord Jesus Christ through God honoring music and biblically sound preaching and teaching.
- To proclaim the Gospel message of salvation by faith and repentance.
- To provide systematic instruction in the Word of God through Bible Studies, Sunday School Classes, Biblical Discipleship Training, and Kids Clubs.
- To provide a place of fellowship and accountability where each believer can truly be cared for.
