A Message of Hope, Love, and Sacrifice |
God's word says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you" (I Peter 1:3-4)
God has made a way for us to find the hope that is essential to an abundant life. We must, however, realize that as humans we sin, and this sin separates us from God. Yet His love is so great and His grace so immense that He made a way for our sins to be forgiven, offering forgiveness and salvation freely.
The Bible makes it very clear that God loved us so much that He sent His only Son to pay for our sin. God's Word says, "For God so loved the World, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16) The price God's Son had to pay was to die a horrific death on a cruel Roman cross, shedding His blood and dying for us. We can find forgiveness of our sin through faith in the person of Jesus Christ who died for our sin and rose from the grave.
Imagine the hope that is infused into the life of someone who receives Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord! God promises eternal life to everyone who believes in Him, but without God we have no real hope; there is no future. With God we have "hope of eternal life, which God...promised before the world began" (Titus 1:2).
The hope of eternal life is available for all of us. This hope comes when we acknowledge our sinfulness and our need for the Saviour--Jesus Christ.

If you were to die today, do you know for sure where you will spend eternity? Is it Heaven or Hell? You hope it will be Heaven, but this is the most important question that you will need to answer while you are still alive. God loves you - He wants you to know for sure that you can be saved from the eternal condemnation of Hell. God's wonderful salvation plan is as simple as A-B-C:
Admit that you are unrighteous and a sinner (Romans 3:10; 3:23) and realize that you do not deserve to go to Heaven (I Corinthians 6:9). Because of this condition, you deserve God's righteous judgment and you are headed to an eternity of torments in Hell, which the Bible calls "the second death." (Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:14, 15).
Believe and understand the good news of what God has done; because God loves you, He provided the only way to save you from suffering eternal torments: "that Christ died for our sins and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" (I Corinthians 15:1-4). Yes, we can become righteous through God's Son, Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). Because of what He did, you can be saved.
Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus; be willing to repent (Acts 17:30) and ask Him to save your soul (Romans 10:13) by personally receiving God's gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10), then you can have the righteousness of Christ at this very moment (Romans 10:4)

Please do not take a chance. Physical death only happens once, then the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). The most important decision that you will ever make is to trust Jesus Christ by faith and receive Him into your heart as your personal Savior
Will you pray, right now, and ask God to save you from your sin? If you are sincerely wanting to do this now, say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. Please forgive me of my sin. I want the hope of eternal life that can only be found in You, and right now I receive You as my Lord and Saviour. I trust in You alone for my salvation, believing that You died, and rose again from the grave. Thank You for saving me.
